Committee OverviewThe Personnel and Finance Committee is responsible for issues involving city revenue, budget, spending, priorities for capital spending, and employee matters including salaries, grievances, union negotiations, hiring, and termination.
The Personnel and Finance Committee has jurisdiction over the City Administrator, City Clerk, City Treasurer, Assessor, City Attorney, and personnel matters.
MeetingsThe Personnel and Finance Committee meets the third Tuesday of the month in the Council Chambers at City Hall located at 710 S. Janesville Street.

The Personnel and Finance Committee is comprised of three alderpersons currently serving on the Common Council. Personnel and Finance Committee members are appointed annually by the mayor.
