The Goodrich Square Steering Committee was established after the Goodrich Square Master Plan was finalized in July 2010. To view a final copy of the plan, click here. Others are encouraged to attend the meetings to voice their opinions on the projects. Generally meetings are held on the third Friday of every month at 9 a.m. at the Milton Community House. Please consult the city's online calendar of events for possible date changes.
Fundraising
Vandewalle & Associates estimated the total cost of the Goodrich Square project at approximately $4.2 million. In order to complete the project, the plan will be divided into phases.
The first project in Goodrich Square will be the splash park in South Goodrich Park. The Council chose to work with SAA Design Group, Inc. out of Madison, WI. They have a wide range of experience in constructing splash parks.
In order to raise the funds necessary to complete the entire project, the committee needs your help. Please consider donating to the Goodrich Square project. Additional information about donating will be available soon.
Splash Park
The first project in Goodrich Square will be a splash park. SAA Design Group will be doing the design and engineering work. During the design process, the public will have the opportunity to give their input during public design meetings and through online forums. Check back soon for more details.
