Tails n Trails Dog Park

The Tails n Trails Dog Park was developed as a result of the Ad-Hoc Crossridge Park Committee's fundraising efforts and the generous donations from individuals and organizations.  The 15+ acre park includes separate fenced areas for large and small dogs, a small playground outside of the fenced area, off-street parking, trails, and clean water source.

Crossridge Park Master Plan

Eventually, the park is planned to include a frisbee golf course, large shelter/gazebo facilities, large playground, ball fields, volleyball court, horseshoes, and additional trails. Ice Age Trail

Residents looking for walking, hiking, backpacking or snowshoeing opportunities can participate in these activities on the Ice Age Trail. The Ice Age Trail is a 1000 mile trail running through Wisconsin focusing on the land formations created during the Ice Age. A segment of the trail runs through Milton.

Memberships are as low as $25.00. The fee includes a subscription to the trails quarterly magazine, discounts on merchandise, and invitations to many events through the Ice Age Trail Alliance and your local chapter.

Throughout the year the Rock County Chapter holds special events and work days. You can always log on to their website at http://rock.iceagetrail.org/home to view their special even calendar and other news about the chapter.

Volunteers are responsible for building and maintaining the trail. Currently around 800 feet of the Storrs Lake segment of the trail is under water. There are also other projects that are being worked on continuously along the trail. If you’re interested in helping you can contact the main office at 800-227-0046 or the volunteer chapter coordinator Mike Guisleman at (608) 884-9272 or pomeroy3@verizon.net.
