Tails & Trails
      Dog Park

A dedicated group of individuals have been planning and raising funds for the park over the past few years.  The park is located in the southwest area of the City near the intersection of John Paul Road and Vincent Street (adjacent to Milton Propane and the Alliant Energy Substation).  The 15+ acre park will include separate fenced areas for large and small dogs, a small playground outside of the fenced area, off-street parking, trails, clean water source, and a K-9 agility/training course.

Currently the Crossridge Park Ad-Hoc Committee has succeeded in raising $30,000 toward making this dream a reality for City residents.

How You Can Help
Air Products donated $5,000 to begin the campaign, and the City Council has matched that with $5,000 from the
City's park development fund.  The Milton Community Fund also awarded the City with a $1,000 grant.  So, we are well on our way to our goal.  However more cash donations are needed.

You can help by making a monetary donation and/or equipment/material/volunteer labor donation.  Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.  Click here to access the Sponsorship Form.  If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the Volunteer Waiver of Liability Form and return it to City Hall before working.  Click here to download the form.

Of course, any donations for this municipal program will be tax deductible.  The committee will also recognize donors in multiple ways, including permanent recognition in the form of a plaque/sign at the park itself.  Higher levels of donation will also result in other recognition opportunities.
