City of Milton Projects Bike Tour is a bicycle tour of various municipal projects in Milton, and it will take place on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.  The tour will begin at the City Hall Parking Lot located at 430 E. High Street.

The tour will include stops around the city to highlight and explain some of the major public infrastructure projects that are or will be occurring in 2009 and 2010.   City Administrator Todd Schmidt will be serving as the tour guide.  Anyone who has an interest in learning about city projects and enjoys bike riding is encouraged to participate. 

The level of biking experience needed will be minimal. There will be some hills, but the pace will be relatively slow. Those participating should plan to wear light colored clothing and bike helmets. The group will enjoy a Milton Police Department Bike Patrol escort during the ride.

In the event of rain or strong threat of rain, the ride will be cancelled and scheduled for a later date.
